I was amazed at how quickly the installation occurred.  They obtained the building permit and then a crew of 4 workers completed the installation in 3 days.  I have never had a more competent group of workers than those who installed my system.  They were always courteous, always kept me in the loop when decisions needed to be made, and always thoroughly explained the options.  They were also very conscientious about cleaning up all the dust and debris as it was generated.

I replaced the old natural gas furnace/air conditioning units with Trane heat pump/air handling units since the State instant rebate and Federal tax credit for heat pump systems were available and made the Trane high efficiency/quiet system a good value compared to the Daikin and Mitsubishi options. The office was good with communicating with me to schedule the work and City permit inspections and lead technician Od was a pleasure to work with and provided good customer service while he answered all my questions all while leading the hard working crew throughout the installation process. ACE was also good at following up to ensure the work passed the City inspection in a timely manner and provided prompt & responsive customer service after the installation was complete. The system has been working fine for the past 2 months keeping the house cool/warm as needed without electric bill increase so far, but we haven't experienced the coldest/hottest temperatures in LA yet. I highly recommend calling ACE if you're in need of a new HVAC system.

  Originally I found Air Comfort Experts by searching on Daikin's website for their certified "Comfort Pro" installers.  This is important as I found most HVAC people in SoCal do not... read more have a lot of experience with heat pumps.  We have solar panels and I feel that heat pumps are the future in California.   I received quotes from five different companies, and I liked Air Comfort Experts the best as they seemed very knowledgable and were not pushy at all.  They simply explained what they thought would be best and why.  I also could tell the owner was detail oriented and was very easy to work with.

Air Comfort Pro installed my 5 ton heat pump and air handler over 3 days, exactly when they said they would, and their workers were meticulous and extremely hard working.  I felt I was very particular, and they worked with me to have everything just to my liking.  I was very impressed with their work ethic and quality.

The system has been performing great and we have been very happy with everything.  They helped me apply for all available rebates at the time, but what really impressed me was they found a rebate later I did not know about  and were able to retroactively apply without my knowledge and had a check sent to me for $1500 months after the install happened!   I wish all companies took care and watched out for their customers like this.

In the future I will be using them again, this time when I replace my gas powered hot water heater with a heat pump model.

They texted me of their ETA , sure enough they were in front of the house at exactly the time promised. They explained what was wrong and possible work to be done . Though the charges this time doubled up from 2 years ago , it is totally understandable and acceptable fees. I will use them again.
In conclusion they are highly recommendable to anyone needing their service.

There was a high level of workmanship and a great team of technicians/installers. They worked with us during the install to make sure it was a good fit for what we wanted. So far the system works great, and we are very happy with this contractor. They scheduled the work soon after we agreed to the contract, in contrast with other companies who did not have the equipment for months. Highly recommended.

They started the work promptly, finished on time, with no adverse surprises, and at a bargain price. Air Comfort Experts handled every detail from start to finish: permit, installation, warranty registration, HERS test, final inspection and rebate submission.   I had a very positive experience with Bulga and the staff of Air Comfort Experts. Their bid was not the least expensive for adding mini splits for my house, but... read more it was for thousands less than the Home Depot's contracted company -- which was the only other bid to also offer ten year warranties on parts and labor. Additionally, Air Comfort Experts work with Mitsubishi and Daikin brands, so I liked having that choice as well. So, I went with Air Comfort Experts because I felt I was getting a quality product installed by a company that was going to stand by their work. At the time of our initial meeting, Bulga was prepared to use his computer, show me rebates, and prepare an estimate for me. He told me what could work, but also let me know what he preferred not to do because it would look ugly (due to the location of my electrical box) -- which I definitely appreciate. My install happened over two days. On the first day, a staff member was bilingual to make sure all of my questions were answered and the expectations clear. The next day, the crew did not speak English -- however, this was not an issue, as they phoned their office for translation whenever necessary (which was hardly at all). All of the staff were very responsible and respectful throughout the process -- wearing shoe coverings, laying down mats, sweeping up after themselves, and even surprising me by taking the time to place decorative rocks around my exterior unit (I don't know where they came from, but I am touched by the gesture). Lastly, after the job was done, Helen (an office manager) helped me feel confident about my federal rebate by providing additional coverage information about my unit. If I were doing it again, I would still call Bulga and the Air Comfort Experts. Thank you!

  We were looking to replace an old resistance heating system from the 1960's in my Condo with a ducted split system.  We contacted several HVAC companies and decided to go... read more with Air Comport Experts based on professionalism, cost and the system they suggested.  Bulga was great, even had the initial consult over Zoom since we were in a hurry, I later found out he was joining from an airport while traveling.  He came out for an in person quote once he was back in town. He was very accommodating to our needs and seemed very knowledgeable.  I thought it would take a few weeks to get started with the install because plans needed to generated and cleared by our Home Owners, he got everything done quickly and reached out to the HOA president and was ready to start next week. His team of installers were great, they did exactly what we had discussed with Bulga. Other companies wanted to open large areas of drywall to run the refrigerant lines between the indoor and outdoor units, Bulga's team was able to fish the lines thru the soffit and completed the install with minimal drywall removal. They also did a nice job patching the ceiling areas and matching it to the existing textured finish. We ended up with a very nice quiet Mitsubishi split system. Thanks Air Comport Experts!

  Always professional! Before we called Air Comfort, another company tied to home warranty (American Home Shield; awful company) did the outdoor unit and they messed everything up. Air comfort came... read more to the rescue and matched the outdoor unit with out indoor unit (we live in apt) and fixed a hole that was drilled in our Freon pipes outdoors. Because it had to be a custom job there was something off with the wiring and we've had a few times where Air comfort had to come back and fix it under their warranty so no charge! They came and fixed it literally the same day I would call. They are amazing!

One guy came,... read more took a cursory look, charged us $250 *for an estimate* and then went back to the office. The next week they sent us a suggested diagnostic procedure that would have cost well over $1k.

I then called Air Comfort and they send *three* guys who were clean, courteous, and on time. They examined the AC unit, reconnected a loose wire, disassembled and checked the rest of of it, can charged $78. Remarkable. I dropped them a C-note and will be a customer for life.

We did a very detailed examination of the locations for the compressor on my roof, where the hoses would be tied into the units & and where water will drip into my gardens when I use the AC.
Before entering my house, all my floors & carpets were covered and sealed w tape. Immediately after any drilling the installers vacuumed thoroughly so I had no clean up whatsoever.  All 5 workers were absolutely professional, Knowledgeable and courteous, totally respectful of my property & home.

  Air Comfort Experts installed a Daikin heat pump system in my home last year. I've waited to review the company until the system could go though a cooling and a... read more heating season. Now I can say with confidence that I fully appreciated working with this company.  

Before the installation, Bulga discussed the full range of options. He was informed and direct in his presentation. His bid was competitive with others we received for comparable equipment, but with the added bonus of an extended warrantee. Office staff was friendly and responsive, as they coordinated scheduling. We had the ductwork fully replaced, added a second air intake and several new registers. Installation went smoothly and efficiently, and the project was completed on time. The crew was courteous, pleasant, and good-natured. The system (Daikin 4 ton, variable speed) passed the HERS test with no problem and was permitted easily. Bulga designed the ducting appropriately, so that each room receives just the right amount of airflow. He set up the excellent electronic thermostat and demonstrated how to use it. As for system performance: Both the cooling and heating are wonderful--quiet, efficient, and appropriate for the space. The outdoor compressor is a tad noisier than we'd expected, but the inside air handler is very quiet; in the rooms that aren't near the compressor, the system sound is a mere whisper. We have had no problems with the Daikin unit since it was installed, and are confident that if anything went wrong, Bulga would be right on the scene to correct the issues.

Bottom line: I highly recommend Air Comfort Experts for any HVAC needs.
